My boys say funny things

Both of my boys came home from camp activities with the youth groups with funny things to say:

 

Xander went to scout camp at Causey Reservoir all week:

Xander: "Hey Dad, I'm home!"

Me: "Ahh good, how was it?"

Xander: "Good"

Me: "What did you do?"

Xander: "Well I can tell what I DIDNT do ...shower!"

 

Josh went boating on Thursday and then to a cabin in Castledale then hiking above Silver Lake Flat today:

Josh: "Dad, I'm home."

Me: "Ahh cool, so how was it?"

Josh: "Awesome. I went on a hike that cannot be described without the use of Google Maps."

Sam Fox, 54th Ward Elders Quorum President

These crack me up.

Geeks all over the world have been putting their own captions over this scene from Der Untergang (2004) (which actually looks like a good movie).

They always follow the same theme: Hitler (or Sam in this case) is given some kind of news that shouldnt be a big deal but then gets unexpectedly twisted by bad news at which point Hitler flys off the handle.

Be warned that if you search YouTube for other versions of this, it might get a bit salty with language. But, if you can stand it most of them are hilarious.

This one is squeaky clean as one would expect from a Home-Teaching theme

SuperNews! Twouble with Twitters

I thought this was funny. I hear this from people who don't use Twitter all the time. It's even more ironic that this was posted on current.com the same network that aired the 2008 Presidential Debates with a live Twitter stream overlayed on the boradcast.
